I always wanted to give back to the community so I began volunteering with Meals on Wheels in March 2021 and serve as a Dessert Co-ordinator. I really enjoy working with the MOW team – the friendships, laughter and team building. To anyone considering volunteering I say absolutely give it a try. It would be great to see more young people involved with Meals on Wheels, learning the needs of the community. “Giving back" in a volunteer environment is very rewarding.
