My parents have been volunteering with MOW for over 25 years. I thought it would be a great way to continue their legacy and joined as a volunteer in 2020. Initially I was a driver and then found that kitchen assistance was also needed so now I cook as well as drive and deliver. I also serve on the MOW Board and have taken on some facilities and maintenance roles. What do I enjoy? Working in the kitchen and with all of the teams, seeing and chatting with clients when out on delivery and knowing that we are making a difference in people’s lives. For anyone thinking of volunteering with MOW I’d say do it now - we need you!
